Metro Rod work with the likes of Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Mitie, Clarion, Axa, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. The services are provided by over 60 franchisees with geographical coverage across the UK. We’ve been clearing and unblocking drains for more than thirty years and we’re proud of our reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction. Major companies and leading high street names trust us to deal with all their regular drain maintenance and we’ll bring the same high standards of service to tackle your drain blockage.

Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, is also Willow Pumps and Filta. Two expanding businesses that focus on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a complete one-stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.

Metro Rod Bournemouth are now looking for dedicated and technically skilled individual who wants to develop their engineering careers within this sector and who are committed to providing the most exceptional levels of service to our valued and high-profile customers.

We will work with you from the outset to establish the optimum working pattern that suits your needs as well as those of our business.

The roles themselves will provide a wide range of emergency and contracted services to both commercial and domestic customers.

What’s involved?

To carry out a range of services associated with the tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer’s drains
To deliver an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
To ensure you work in accordance with H&S and Quality Assurance procedures
To maintain your branded company service vehicle and equipment to the highest standards
Accurately record work / job details via a range of bespoke internal / client systems and applications
Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
Commitment to working for a 24/7 and 365 service provider – this may involve participation in on call rotas or occasional unsociable hours

What do we look for?

Experience in Drainage essential – minimum of 2 years
High pressure water jetting experience
CSCS
Have experience with CCTV Surveys and Lining an advantage
Will have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude
Want to be part of an exciting, growing and progressive business with an increasingly formidable brand presence
Be willing to work occasional / unsociable hours
Hold a full UK driving licence
MUST live in the Dorset area
