Business Development Executive (Oil & Gas / Fire Fighting Products with International Travel)

We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to support the growth of our Oil Technics and Fire Fighting Products divisions, with a focus on international markets and long-term partnerships.
This is a role where success comes from building credibility, understanding customer needs and converting those relationships into sustainable new business.

- Fire suppression foams and firefighting agents
- Industrial cleaning products used in oil & gas environments
- Chemical solutions for safety-critical applications
We supply customers globally and are focused on strengthening our international presence while growing new business across key oil & gas markets.
The opportunity
This is a relationship-led business development role with a clear growth objective:
- Build strong relationships across global oil & gas markets
- Identify and develop new opportunities
- Convert those opportunities into new business and revenue growth
You won’t inherit a ready-made pipeline. Instead, you will develop connections, open doors and grow business over time, positioning OTL Group as a trusted partner.
What you’ll be doing
Winning and developing new business
- Identify and pursue new opportunities across fire fighting products and Oil Technics solutions
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospects internationally
- Lead opportunities from early engagement through to agreement and delivery
- Contribute to proposals, tenders and commercial discussions
- Achieve sustainable growth in line with business objectives
International market development
- Grow presence across key oil & gas regions (e.g. Middle East, North Sea, North America, Asia)
- Represent OTL Group through travel, site visits and industry events
- Understand regional markets, expectations and routes to business
Working across the business
- Collaborate with the commercial, technical, marketing and production teams
- Ensure customer needs are understood and translated into workable solutions
- Share market insight to support product positioning and development
- Act as the link between primarily new customer requirements and internal delivery
Strengthening market presence
- Position OTL Group as a trusted supplier in fire safety and oil & gas environments
- Build awareness of our Fire Fighting Products and specialist chemical solutions
- Support consistent and credible engagement across all touchpoints
What we’re looking for
This role is about someone who understands that strong relationships and new business go hand in hand and also enjoys the opportunity of international travel.
Essential experience
- Proven experience in oil & gas, fire safety, chemicals or similar sectors
- Track record of winning new business, ideally through relationship-led approaches
- Experience in international or export markets
- Experience working with technical or safety-critical products would be advantageous
