Transport Administrator (13:00 – 20:00)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:00 – 20:00
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organised Transport Administrator to join our busy Pallet Network team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the daily transport operation, ensuring accurate administration, effective communication with drivers, and maintaining high levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Pallet Network team with daily administrative duties.
Processing and maintaining transport documentation accurately.
Monitoring vehicle and driver activity throughout the shift.
Liaising with drivers, customers, and warehouse staff.
Updating transport management systems and spreadsheets.
Managing delivery paperwork and proof of delivery records.
Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
Assisting with route planning and vehicle scheduling where required.
Ensuring compliance with company procedures and transport regulations.

Requirements

Previous administration experience (transport or logistics experience desirable).
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
A positive and proactive approach to work.
Forklift licence desirable
