Full job description

Ellis Power Services provides rental generator sets for general hire, emergency response to the Critical, Prime and Standby power markets.

Ellis Power Services is one of the regions leading Power Generator Rental companies within Devon and Cornwall.

With our depots situated in Redruth and Exeter the company has grown as a result of high service levels to our valued clients and continued reinvestment within the business.

About you;

You will have goo knowledge and at least 2 years experience of mechanical or electrical engineering. You must have a full driving license, excellent communication skills, good work ethos and physically fit.

About the roll;

Reporting to the Redruth depot manager, the successful candidate will be required to self manage, oversee and undertake the full maintenance and up-keep of the diesel generator fleet based at our Redruth depot and surrounding locations ranging from 20KVA to 1250KVA.

Carry out planned service and maintenance work on hire fleet
Engine fault diagnosis and rebuild
Preparation of equipment for hire
Field servicing of hire fleet
Enroll onto the call out rota system *Call out and overtime will be paid at the prevailing rate
Team player
Organised and self motivated with an eye for detail
If you have an idea for improvements, we want to hear about them
