Linthwaite House is part of the Leeu Collection’s luxury hospitality portfolio, and we are looking for a Guest Relations Assistant / Receptionist to join our vibrant team at our beautiful hotel overlooking Lake Windermere.

Guest Relations Assistant / Receptionist Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end or luxury hospitality setting is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for guest service
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
A friendly, warm, and approachable manner with a proactive attitude
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:

Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a memorable first impression
Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
Handle guest requests, queries, and feedback promptly and effectively
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel offerings, local attractions, and services
Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Handle reservations, phone calls, and emails with professionalism
Ensure the reception and lobby areas are always immaculate and welcoming
Support in administrative duties as required
