We are looking for a Senior Operations Team Leader to play a pivotal role in driving performance, safety, and operational excellence across our Grantham site.
This is more than a team leader role—you’ll be a key operational contact during shifts, coordinating teams, managing performance, and stepping up to lead in critical situations when needed.

Champion a zero-harm culture and exceed H&S targets

Lead safe working practices, compliance, and team training

Act quickly to escalate and manage any safety risks

Ensure all products meet customer, food safety, and quality standards

Maintain GMP standards and ensure the site is audit-ready at all times

Support and lead audits and customer visits

Deliver key KPIs: output, yield, quality, labour efficiency

Optimise labour utilisation, attendance, and workforce planning
-
Work closely with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime
-
Support planning and execution during peak production
-
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team
-
Drive engagement through communication, feedback, and team briefings
-
Ensure training compliance and maintain an accurate skills matrix
-
Champion wellbeing and foster a positive team culture
-
Drive lean improvements and operational efficiencies
-
Lead projects and meetings to support site performance
-
Embed visual management and best practices
-
Promote waste reduction, recycling, and energy efficiency

Support initiatives to reduce environmental impact

Strong leadership experience in FMCG or manufacturing
-
Proven ability to deliver results and drive performance

Confident communicator with strong stakeholder skills

Experience in continuous improvement and lean practices

Highly organised, proactive, and solution-focused

Food manufacturing background

HACCP / IOSH qualifications

Track record in delivering sustainable change
