This is your chance to work on challenging, high-profile projects where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

Designing roads, levels, drainage, and external works for both public (adoptable) and private realm schemes.
Contributing to projects from early planning through to detailed design and delivery.
Using your technical skills to support multiple projects, with guidance from senior colleagues when needed.
Collaborating with clients, planning authorities, and national bodies such as the Environment Agency.
Taking an active role in mentoring less experienced colleagues and representing BWB in technical discussions.

What You’ll Bring

Civil engineering design experience, particularly in levels, drainage, and external works.
Skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (or PDS with willingness to train on Civil 3D), MicroDrainage, and Microsoft Office.
An understanding of multi-disciplinary projects and the drive to broaden your knowledge across sectors.
Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different audiences — from clients to colleagues.
Commercial awareness and the confidence to represent the team externally.
A proactive, “self-starter” mindset with a collaborative approach.
