Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

We're looking for a Technical Support Engineer with a strong IT background who enjoys solving technical problems and delivering outstanding customer support. This is an office-based role supporting customers remotely and working closely with our sales, operations and installation teams.
The Role
You will provide technical support before and after sale, helping customers install, configure and troubleshoot our commercial AV and digital signage solutions. While many of our products are Android-based, a solid understanding of Windows, networking and general IT support is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support via phone, email and remote access.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot digital signage and AV solutions.
- Support Android-based displays, CMS platforms and interactive touchscreens.
- Assist with Windows, networking and software configuration.
- Diagnose hardware, software and connectivity issues.
- Configure video conferencing and meeting room equipment.
- Perform firmware updates and product configuration.
- Escalate technical issues to manufacturers where required.
- Maintain accurate support records using our CRM/helpdesk system.
- Produce technical documentation and user guides.
- Test equipment and assist with fault diagnosis.
- Provide technical guidance to the sales team.
- Keep up to date with new products and technologies.

Essential Skills
- Previous experience in an IT Support or Technical Support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Android.
- Experience with software installation and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking, Wi-Fi, DHCP and DNS.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Well organised with good attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Experience
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:
- Digital Signage software
- Remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Remote Desktop)
- Google Workspace
- HTML/CSS (basic)
- Zoho CRM or similar CRM platforms
- Shopify
- AV installation
- HDMI distribution
- PoE and VLAN networking
- Yealink, Logitech or Poly meeting room systems
- Commercial display technologies
- Interactive displays
