**MINIMUM Navigational Watch Rating**
Due to continued growth and expansion within the business, Mainprize Offshore is seeking motivated and reliable Deckhands to join our Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) fleet. As a Deckhand onboard a Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV), you will play a key role in supporting safe and efficient deck operations. You will assist in the transfer of Technicians, Personnel, and Cargo to and from offshore Wind Turbines and SOVs, while actively contributing to a strong safety culture and maintaining clear, professional communication with the Company, Client, and MCC.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+Assisting with the transfer of Technicians, Personnel, and Cargo to and from Turbines and SOVs
+Crane and cargo operations
+Maintenance of onboard equipment and safety systems, including LSA & FFE, under instruction from the Master
+Inspection of equipment and reporting of defects and non-conformities
+Compliance with the Company SMS and strict adherence to all IMO Codes
+Application of the PMS, including identifying and reporting defects and non-conformities
+Assisting the Engineer and Master with hands-on support when required
+Maintaining cleanliness of the vessel, including daily washdowns, polishing, paint preparation, and general upkeep
+Maintaining a proper lookout in support of the Master during operations
Required Certification and Documentation
+Minimum Navigational Watch Rating (II/4)
+Proof of right to work in the UK
+Valid passport for travel within the UK and EU
+Personal Survival Techniques (A-VI/1-1)
+Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention (A-VI/1-2)
+Elementary First Aid (A-VI/1-3)
+Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (A-VI/1-4) – within 4 years
+ENG1 Seafarer Medical Certificate (any restrictions must be within the remit of the role)
+Crowd Management (A-V/2, A-V/3)
+Slinger/Banksman
+Food Hygiene Level 2
+Valid Driving Licence
Seagoing Experience:
+Experience as a Deckhand or AB on commercially operated vessels
+Experience on small vessels such as Fishing, Ferries, or Tugs will also be considered
+Ability to work independently while also supporting wider crew operations when required
+A proactive attitude with a strong focus on safety and teamwork
