Summary
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to open a brand new store in our portfolio and lead our newly appointed retail team in Ambleside. The expected opening date for the store is the end of July 2026. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales to uphold our brand’s reputation for luxury menswear. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that enhance product presentation.
- Manage daily store operations, including stock control, visual merchandising, and staff scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Analyse sales data to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and organisation.
- Foster a welcoming environment that reflects our brand values.'
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in a retail environment, preferably menswear or fashion.
- Desirable but not essential that you have been involved in new store openings
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse sales figures and develop strategies accordingly. Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in merchandising and visual presentation.
- Customer-focused attitude with a passion for fashion.
You must be flexible in your approach to work, have excellent timekeeping and be willing to work as part of a friendly and dynamic team!
We are ideally looking for someone to work 40 hours per week, over 5 days , to include weekend work on a rotational basis. We may consider less hours for the right candidate.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
