Have experience working in an Accounts Payable function, ideally within a fast-paced environment

The Team
You’ll join our Accounts Payable team, made up of 11 clerks and 2 supervisors. The team processes a high volume of transactions and is a great place to start your finance career, with a clear pathway to future accounting roles. You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative group that works together to achieve monthly and annual targets.
The Role
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you’ll be responsible for processing a high volume of supplier invoices, including coding, checking, and matching. You’ll manage a range of supplier accounts, handle statement reconciliations, chase referrals, and resolve queries quickly and accurately. You’ll play a key role in supporting our No PO No Pay policy, ensuring supplier accounts are reconciled monthly, and driving process improvements across the business. You’ll also help onboard new team members and assist supervisors with ad-hoc tasks.

Understanding of an Accounts Payable function
Methodical and organised approach to work
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to analyse and solve problems
Team player, motivated to achieve targets together
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Agresso experience desirable but not essential
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and open to change

Practicalities
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
