Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an 18tn Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operations! In this energetic role, you'll operate a variety of heavy-duty trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and freight carriers. Your expertise in driving and load handling will ensure timely deliveries across diverse routes. We’re looking for motivated drivers who thrive on movement, enjoy navigating different terrains, and are committed to safety and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to seamless supply chain operations.

Duties

Safely operate a range of commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across assigned routes.
Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary.
Drive route-specific deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates or delivery issues.
Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or other specialized trailers to prevent shifting during transit.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission vehicles and specific trailer types such as refrigerated or tanker units.
Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery routes involving freight handling and load/unload procedures.
Familiarity with operating various heavy-duty trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles confidently over long distances and challenging terrains.
Experience with freight logistics, route planning, and delivery documentation.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance.
