JOB PURPOSE
Deliver consultancy and risk assessment services to AESG’s clients.
Execution of projects.
Assist in business development activities related to consultancy services.
Manage multiple client relationships.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Surveying or equivalent.
Ideally qualified to MSc Degree level with relevant academic or with post academic professional qualifications to carry out the role.
Required minimum experience: 6-10 years.
Chartered Engineer (preferred).
Independently manage, lead and undertake the delivery of projects in a client facing role.
Assist the External Wall Director by leading one of the project delivery teams, including overseeing and reviewing the work of junior employees, assisting them in dealing with complex situations where required.
Managing and undertaking site survey work and subsequent report writing, including FRAEW’s, FRA’s, and Compartmentation/Fire Door Surveys where scoped.
Inspection, design, and plan review for site inspection works.
Delivery of projects to high levels of quality to deadlines.
Assist External Wall Director in commercial management of projects and their delivery.
Protect AESG liability exposure across projects and manage technical risk.
Maintain an up to date understanding and strong knowledge of the regulatory requirements/guidance in regard to External Wall and Fire Safety.
Assist the Technical Director with technical leadership of the External Wall department.
Support development of procedures to improve division function and efficiency.
Supporting training and development of junior employees with mentoring as required.
Assist in preparing proposals when required.
Maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
Support the team with audit plans and conduct internal audits (if relevant experience).
Actively pursue continued professional development through completion of training modules.
Conducting all their activities in quality, healthy and safe manner and reporting any observed problems/risks to the concerned head or personnel.
Engaging in the implementation and maintenance of the IMS and its processes and in achieving expected outputs.
Exerting all efforts to contribute to the success and continual improvement of the IMS.

Leadership / Team Management Experience - Leading by example in the exemplary delivery of projects. Assist Consultants and Senior Consultants when dealing with complex situations. Support divisional leadership and provide line management to graduates and coordinators. Responsible for at least 2 more members of staff. Uphold AESG Core Values.
Commercial Acumen / Business Development - Client oriented and provides significant contribution to commercial success of the division and takes ownership for the development of procedures to improve division function and efficiency. Experience in preparation and presentation of proposals and seeking and winning new work.
