Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analytical Chemist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in conducting scientific research and ensuring the quality control of our products. This position requires a strong background in biochemistry and experience with laboratory information management systems. The ideal candidate will be passionate about product development and committed to maintaining compliance with CGMP standards.

Duties

Conduct analytical testing and research to support product development initiatives.
Perform quality control assessments to ensure the integrity and reliability of results.
Utilise laboratory information management systems for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimise analytical methods.
Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and quality control measures.
Ensure compliance with CGMP regulations and laboratory safety protocols.
Assist in troubleshooting analytical issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Experience

A degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field is essential.
Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable, particularly in a quality control or product development setting.
Familiarity with CGMP guidelines and practices is an advantage.
Proficiency in scientific research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
Experience with laboratory information management systems is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are required to manage multiple tasks effectively.
