Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and personable Senior Bartender to join our vibrant bar team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and recipes.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage stock levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist in inventory control.
- Train and mentor junior bartenders and bar staff to uphold service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible alcohol service and prevent over-consumption.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently using POS systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment, ideally at a senior level.
- Strong knowledge of alcohol service practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve guests professionally and courteously.
- Demonstrable hospitality skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Experience in serving drinks efficiently while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
