Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Previous janitorial experience and knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures are highly desirable. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness in a professional setting.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, retail spaces, and other commercial facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Empty waste bins and dispose of waste responsibly
Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintain high standards of hygiene in restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and steam cleaners safely and effectively
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or contamination

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities

This position is suitable for individuals who take pride in creating clean and hygienic environments. Prior experience in commercial cleaning enhances your application, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
