Full job description

Position Summary

A metallurgical plant operating as part of a large global organisation is recruiting for a Sales and Service Analyst to join their team. The Sales and Service Analyst will be responsible for coordination of service and logistics for Climax Molybdenum external and internal domestic customers. Positively represents the organisation’s products and services to customers and new prospects while providing sales contract administration for sales and marketing functions. Primarily responsible for scheduling purchases and arranging shipments of molybdenum finished goods products from various plants. Collaborates with global planners, production facilities, transportation, and external customers to ensure finished products are delivered that meet contracted customer specifications.

Duties Overview

Creates and maintains customer relationships through daily interactions.
Processes customer requests using SAP to enter sales orders and manage contracts.
Schedules shipments of products per customers request coordinating with various supply chain functions.
Maintains customer records in SAP Master Data to support sales and forecasting systems.
Coordinates with global planners to ensure product availability.
Invoices customer when shipment completes audits for accuracy and requests corrections as required.
Assist credit management with remittance when necessary.
Monitor actual vs. forecasted sales; assist sales manager in achieving sales goals by maintaining accurate records and delivery schedules.
Perform other duties as requested.

Where You Will Work

As a hybrid employee, you will engage in both virtual collaboration and in-person meetings at our Stowmarket site, as well as other locations as required. The Stowmarket site provides an open and flexible workspace where individuals and teams can come together to support a range of business needs. In-person attendance may vary depending on the requirements of your role and department.

Position Requirements

With legal rights to live and work in the UK.
Degree with honours (e.g. BA Hons, BSc Hons) or Level 6 equivalent in Business, Logistics, or other related field and two (2) years’ experience in sales, transportation, customer service, accounting, or similar work environment which requires high customer satisfaction; OR NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, AND five (5) years of experience in sales, transportation, customer service, accounting, or similar work environment which requires high customer satisfaction.
Ability to manage customer demands and production issues.
Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and self-managed while delivering measurable results.
Strong problem-solving skills including critical and evaluative thinking.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, and other cloud-based systems.
Preferably with experience in SAP enterprise resource planning experience with order-to-cash modules.
