RoboShadow is a fast-growing, UK-based global Cyber Security startup based in Shenfield, Essex, and we are looking for a Product Manager to help us shape, improve, and scale our platform.
This is a full-time, in-office role for someone who wants to be close to the product, the users, the development team, and the commercial direction of the business. We are looking for someone who can sit at the centre of customer needs, product decisions, technical delivery, and business priorities, helping turn ideas and feedback into clear, valuable product outcomes.
You will be working directly with a fast-moving enterprise-grade start-up team across product, engineering, customer experience, support, sales, and leadership. This is a hands-on role where your work will be highly visible, highly impactful, and central to the next stage of RoboShadow’s growth.
Our company is at an exciting crossroads: we are building enterprise Cyber Security technology, working with real customers, and scaling our product, processes, and team. As Product Manager, you will play a key role in making sure we build the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.
This Role Is For You If You:
- Love technology and want to work in a fast-moving Cyber Security environment
- Have strong product instincts and enjoy turning user problems into clear product solutions
- Are highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities without losing the detail
- Can work closely with developers, support teams, sales teams, and users
- Are comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions, and getting to the real problem
- Can translate customer feedback, technical ideas, and business needs into clear requirements
- Are resourceful and able to teach yourself new technology fast using Google, ChatGPT, documentation, demos, and internal experts
- Are excited by AI tools, automation, Cyber Security, cloud platforms, and product-led growth
- Like working in person with a team and are able to commute to our Shenfield office every day
- Are comfortable in a startup where things move quickly and your contribution will be visible
- Are happy to take ownership rather than waiting to be told every next step
Your Key Responsibilities
Initial responsibilities will include the following:
Product Discovery: Work with users, customers, internal teams, and leadership to understand problems, gather feedback, identify opportunities, and shape product improvements.
Requirements and User Stories: Turn ideas, feedback, and business priorities into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, notes, and development-ready tickets.
Roadmap Support: Help manage and prioritise the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, technical complexity, business impact, and development capacity.
Working with Engineering: Collaborate closely with developers, testers, support, and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements, unblock questions, test functionality, and make sure product work is delivered properly.
Customer and User Feedback: Gather, organise, and act on feedback from customers, support tickets, demos, sales conversations, onboarding sessions, and day-to-day platform usage.
Product Testing and Quality: Review new features, test workflows, check edge cases, validate fixes, and make sure the product experience is clear, useful, and reliable before changes go live.
Product Documentation: Create and maintain clear internal and user-facing product documentation, release notes, process notes, training materials, and product explanations.
Demos and Enablement: Support product demos, internal training, customer onboarding, sales enablement, and feature explanations so the wider team can confidently understand and communicate the product.
Data and Prioritisation: Use product data, customer insight, commercial context, and team feedback to help make sensible decisions about what should be built next.
AI and Process Improvement: Use AI tools, automation, and systems to improve the way product information is captured, organised, tested, documented, and communicated.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for the right person, more than a perfect CV. You may already be a Product Manager, or you may have worked in a technical support, customer experience, business analyst, project management, QA, development, or operations role and be ready to move deeper into product. This is why we have included such a wide salary range in the role.
Experience That Would Be Helpful
Any of the following would be useful, but not all are essential:
- Previous Product Manager, Junior Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, QA, Technical Support, or Customer Experience experience
- Experience working in a SaaS, Cyber Security, cloud, or technical product business
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, product notes, or technical requirements
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Linear, Notion, Confluence, Figma, Miro, HubSpot, Intercom, or similar
- Experience working directly with developers and technical teams
- Experience speaking with users, gathering feedback, and improving product workflows
- A technical background, coding experience, or personal tech projects would be a bonus
Why Join RoboShadow?
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a real mark in a growing Cyber Security startup.
You will not be hidden away writing documents that nobody reads. You will be close to the product, close to customers, close to the development team, and close to the decisions that shape the future of the company.
You will get access to a wealth of learning resources, tools, mentors, and real product challenges. Think of it as your own Aladdin’s cave of training materials, product problems, customer insight, Cyber Security knowledge, AI tools, and technical expertise.
In return, we are looking for someone who is ready to dive in, work hard, learn fast, and take ownership.
