Full job description

Location: Redbridge, East London (near Central Line)
Salary: £25–£30 per hour (depending on experience & qualifications)
Hours: Part-time, evenings (approx. 2 hours per day, minimum 10 hours per week)
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and patient-focused Earwax Removal Specialist / Audiologist to join our growing private clinic in East London.

This role is ideal for someone seeking flexible evening work in a modern, well-equipped clinic, with a strong emphasis on high-quality care and ethical practice.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out microsuction earwax removal safely and effectively
Perform otoscopy and ear health assessments
Conduct basic hearing screening (pure tone audiometry) where appropriate

Provide clear, professional advice to patients Maintain accurate clinical records Deliver an excellent standard of patient care

Requirements HCPC registered Audiologist (or equivalent relevant qualification) Minimum 3 years’ experience in earwax removal (microsuction essential)

Basic competency in pure tone audiometry (PTA) for hearing screening Confident working independently Strong communication and patient care skills Professional, reliable, and approachable

Desirable (but not essential) Experience with tympanometry Experience in private practice Interest in wider audiology services (e.g. diagnostics, hearing aids)
