Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and professional Senior <PERSON> to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional customer service skills, and a thorough understanding of hair styling and barbering techniques. This role involves overseeing salon operations, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients. The Senior <PERSON> will play a key role in maintaining the salon’s reputation for excellence and fostering a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.

Duties

Lead and supervise the daily operations of the salon, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service.
Provide expert hair styling and barbering services to clients, maintaining current industry trends and techniques.
Offer personalised consultations to clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
Mentor and support junior staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and professional development.
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow and minimise wait times.
Uphold excellent customer service standards, addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
Keep up-to-date with industry developments, new products, and styling techniques to ensure the salon remains competitive.

Skills

Proven experience in hair styling and barbering with a strong portfolio of work.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
Strong customer service orientation, demonstrating professionalism and attentiveness at all times.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor junior staff members.
Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple appointments efficiently.
