Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Clinical Manager to join our healthcare team. This vital leadership role involves overseeing clinical operations within our Residential and Nursing home. The successful candidate will support the delivery of exceptional patient care, manage clinical staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's care, and managing patients with complex needs is essential. The Deputy Clinical Manager will play a key role in fostering a safe, caring environment for all service users.

Duties

Assist the Clinical Manager in overseeing daily clinical operations across various care settings including assisted living and senior care facilities.
Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and adherence to policies.
Coordinate case management activities, including assessments and care planning for diverse patient groups.
Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with prescribed protocols.
Support staff training programmes related to anatomy knowledge, medication administration.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control practices and documentation standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes and improve service delivery.
Contribute to organisational development initiatives focused on enhancing patient care quality.

Requirements

Proven experience in senior healthcare roles such as Ward Manager, Senior Nurse, Clinical lead, and or previous Deputy Clinical Management.
Demonstrable knowledge of assisted living environments and working with individuals with disabilities.
Experience in managing teams within healthcare settings, including supervising staff and coordinating multidisciplinary efforts.
Strong understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s care principles alongside case management expertise.
Familiarity with medication administration protocols,
Excellent organisational skills combined with the ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on dignity and personalised support for vulnerable populations.
Relevant qualifications in healthcare management and nursing are required; ongoing professional development is encouraged. This role offers an opportunity to lead compassionate healthcare services while supporting the growth of a dedicated team committed to excellence in patient wellbeing.

Pay: £45,840.00-£47,840.00 per year
