Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Floor Supervisor to lead and motivate our retail team on the sales floor. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a vibrant, organised shopping environment. As a key leader, you will manage team performance, coordinate merchandising efforts, and uphold high standards of communication and professionalism. Your enthusiasm and leadership will inspire your team to deliver outstanding results and create memorable shopping experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate floor staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
Allocate staff duties and monitor performance, attendance, and completion of daily tasks.
Monitor staff activities to ensure shelves, product displays, and promotional areas are properly maintained.
Oversee customer service operations and support staff in responding to customer enquiries, resolving complaints, and processing product requests.
Report staff performance, sales floor issues, stock requirements, customer feedback, and operational matters to management.
Assist management in improving sales floor procedures, staff productivity, customer service, and overall retail operations.

Experience

Proven management or supervisory experience in a retail or sales environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop a diverse team
Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
Demonstrated success in sales management, merchandising, and team management
Prior experience in retail management or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
