Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Data Entry Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining accurate data records, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring smooth daily operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a professional attitude to handle various clerical tasks efficiently. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your administrative expertise within a dynamic organisation.

Duties

Inputting and updating data accurately into various software programmes such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace
Managing electronic and paper-based filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of information
Assisting with general administrative tasks including correspondence, scheduling, and document preparation
Responding professionally to phone enquiries with good phone etiquette
Organising and prioritising workload to meet deadlines effectively
Verifying data accuracy through regular audits and cross-checks
Supporting team members with clerical duties as required
Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information at all times

Experience

Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Experience with data entry tasks and familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with high accuracy
Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
Previous clerical experience or familiarity with office procedures will be beneficial
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone and email
