Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Apprentice to join our dynamic sales team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop essential skills in sales, negotiation, and customer service. The role is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow their career in B2B sales, with a focus on building strong client relationships and expanding our market presence. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and support to succeed in this fast-paced industry.

Duties

Assist senior sales staff in identifying potential clients and developing new business opportunities
Support the preparation of sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs
Engage with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to promote products and services
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within target sectors
Participate in negotiations to secure favourable terms for both clients and the company
Manage customer accounts, ensuring excellent service and ongoing satisfaction
Maintain organised records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-up tasks using IT systems
Support the organisation of promotional events or trade shows as required

Qualifications

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Basic IT skills, including familiarity with MS Office Suite and CRM software
Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and targets
Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive relationships with clients
Experience or interest in B2B sales is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Customer service experience is desirable but not mandatory
Valid driving licence is preferred for travelling between client sites
