Overview
Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile carpenter to join our team. This position involves a diverse range of construction tasks across our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for carpentry, experience with a variety of tools, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in dynamic environments. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to utilise their technical skills within a reputable organisation committed to quality workmanship.

This role is offered on a self-employed basis with the potential to move to PAYE for the right candidate.

Skills & Duties

NVQ 2/3 in Carpentry in addition to wide ranging carpentry experience.
Experience in first fix, second fix, roofing (trussed and cut), historic properties and new-build construction.
Excellent attention to detail whilst having the ability to understand timescales and wider project priorities.
Ability to follow instructions when required but also to take the initiative and lead when required.
Competence in carpentry, masonry, roofing, or related trades is highly desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Physical fitness to work in demanding environments for extended periods

Pay: £24.00-£26.00 per hour
