Full job description

We are looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role working with metal parts, technical drawings, and press brake machinery. You will need to work accurately, follow specifications, check quality, and help keep production running smoothly.

What you'll do

Set up and run press brake machines to bend and form metal parts to the correct specification.
Read technical drawings and follow the right bending sequence and dimensions.
Check finished parts for quality, accuracy, and measurements.
Work with the production team to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.
Keep your work area safe, clean, and organised.

What we're looking for

Experience operating press brake machinery is essential; experience with Trumpf machines would be an advantage, although training can be provided.
Ability to read technical drawings and work to precise measurements.
Confidence using measuring tools such as callipers and micrometres.
A positive team player who works well in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
A practical approach, good attention to detail, and a strong awareness of safety in a factory environment.

Working pattern

4 days a week compressed working hours
Monday to Thursday: 6am-4:30pm (no works on weekends or Bank Holidays)
Salary: £15 per hour
