Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of horticulture and landscape maintenance, ensuring that all areas are kept in pristine condition.

Duties
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Operate and maintain various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems.
- Carry out planting, pruning, and caring for shrubs, trees, and flowers.
- Monitor plant health and manage pest control measures as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of all grounds equipment and storage areas.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently.
- Maintenance jobs in wet weather
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as shears, spades, and rakes.
- Experience with power tools including lawn mowers, blowers, and trimmers.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance.
- Strong background in horticulture with growing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with gardening techniques and landscape maintenance practices.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
