Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our dental team, ensuring high standards of patient care and efficient clinic operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about healthcare and committed to delivering outstanding patient experiences. The Dental Nurse will be responsible for assisting dentists during procedures, maintaining a clean and organised environment, and supporting patients throughout their visits.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and offering reassurance
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times
Sterilise instruments and ensure all clinical areas are hygienic and well-maintained
Support patients with post-treatment advice and instructions
Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with the reception team to optimise clinic flow
Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with regulatory guidelines
Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare support role is preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of patient care practices within a dental setting is advantageous
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Compassionate approach with excellent interpersonal skills to support diverse patient needs

Pay: £12.21-£14.50 per hour
