CLASS 2 DELIVERY DRIVER

Pay: ££23.00/hr DOE - Paid Weekly

ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to seasonal demand, J Gard & Sons is looking for an experienced Class 2 delivery driver to join us on a self-employed basis for a 4-month period. You'll be delivering timber, landscaping and fencing products to trade and retail customers across Essex and the surrounding areas.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Delivering across Essex and the local area, following delivery and collection tickets accurately, providing excellent customer service on every drop, completing deliveries reliably and on time and maintaining your vehicle to a high standard - all in line with health and safety procedures.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
A Class 2 Driver with no more than 6 penalty points and a good level of physical fitness given the manual handling involved. Previous delivery driving experience is desirable, as is working knowledge of Essex and the surrounding areas. You'll need to be dependable and committed - reliability is key to maintaining our strong customer relationships.

This is a self-employed, seasonal contract for approximately 4 months.
