Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Trader to join our dynamic financial services team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about financial markets and eager to develop their trading expertise. The successful candidate will support senior traders by analysing market data, executing trades, and assisting with research to contribute to the organisation’s trading strategies. Duties

Assist in executing trades across various financial instruments in accordance with company policies and market conditions.
Analyse real-time market data using Bloomberg terminals and other financial tools to identify trading opportunities.
Support senior traders by preparing reports, summarising market trends, and maintaining accurate records of transactions.
Monitor market news, economic indicators, and geopolitical events that could impact trading activities.
Collaborate with team members to develop trading strategies and risk management techniques.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk controls during all trading activities.
Contribute to ongoing research projects aimed at enhancing trading performance and market understanding.

Qualifications

A strong interest in financial markets, trading, and investment strategies.
Proficiency in using Bloomberg terminals or similar financial information platforms is highly desirable.
Previous experience or coursework related to financial services is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data quickly and accurately.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure precise execution of trades and record keeping.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration within the team.
