Full job description

Bowden Bradley are looking for a Sales Progressor to join our growing team.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, commercially minded and excellent with people - someone who doesn’t simply update a spreadsheet and wait for things to happen, but actively drives transactions forward.

As a Sales Progressor, you’ll take ownership of sales from offer agreed through to completion, keeping buyers, sellers, solicitors, mortgage brokers and our internal team moving towards the finish line.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a pipeline of agreed sales and ensuring every transaction progresses as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Taking ownership of a portfolio of sales from offer agreed to completion
Chasing buyers, sellers and solicitors for updates
Identifying and resolving issues before they become problems
Keeping all parties informed throughout the transaction
Monitoring key milestones and maintaining accurate records
Liaising with mortgage brokers and other third parties
Regularly speaking with clients to provide proactive updates
Escalating delays and finding solutions to keep transactions moving
Working closely with our Sales and Lettings teams
Helping reduce fall-throughs and improve our overall customer experience
Maintaining momentum across a busy pipeline

What We're Looking For

We're not necessarily looking for someone with years of sales progression experience.

We're looking for someone who has:

Excellent communication skills
A confident and professional telephone manner
Strong organisation and attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
A proactive, "I'll sort it" attitude
The confidence to chase and challenge solicitors and other professionals when required
The ability to work under pressure and hit deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills
A genuine desire to get deals over the line

Estate agency or sales progression experience is preferred, but attitude, drive and ability are just as important.
