About Us

We are a leading flooring distributor supplying a wide range of high-quality flooring products to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our busy distribution team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid warehouse experience who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse operations. You’ll be responsible for stock control, order picking, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

Main duties include:

· Scanning pallets in and out of locations to maintain accurate stock control.

· Picking orders efficiently and accurately, achieving daily KPIs for pick rate and accuracy.

· Replenishing pick bins and condensing stock to maximize warehouse space.

· Assisting with general warehouse duties to support smooth workflow.

· Reporting any health and safety concerns or near misses immediately.

· Taking part in training on the cutting and handling of vinyl flooring rolls.

· Working effectively as part of a team to meet business targets.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and has a strong attention to detail. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and have a proactive approach to maintaining stock accuracy.

Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years’ warehouse experience (essential).

· Valid Counterbalance(essential) and Articulated FLT license (Essential).

· Good understanding of stock control and use of scanning systems.

· Strong focus on accuracy, safety, and teamwork.

· Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.

Desirable:

· Experience within the flooring or building materials industry.

· Familiarity with vinyl flooring rolls or similar large stock items.
