Full job description

ROLE: Plumbing Operative
HOURS: Full-time
LOCATION: Multi-site (travel required)

We're looking for a Plumbing Operative who will support installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across various sites, working safely and efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Role Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across plumbing and water installations, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
Maintain and repair hot and cold water systems, pipework, TMVs, calorifiers, pumps, sanitary ware, drainage, and complete small installation works
Support wider building services activities including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and basic fabric tasks
Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety standards at all times
Maintain tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition

Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, or equivalent recognised qualification
Experience within facilities management, commercial, or building services environments
Strong plumbing fault-finding and repair skills
Good understanding of water hygiene, Health & Safety, and compliance requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled team
Full UK driving licence
G3 Unvented Hot Water System qualification
