Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist/Administrator to join a secondary school. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing exceptional front-desk support and administrative assistance. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, responsible for managing a variety of administrative tasks to support daily business functions. Prior office experience and strong organisational skills are highly valued in this position.

This is a dual-role position combining both reception and administrative responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will therefore have strong experience in both areas, particularly within a school or education setting.

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in administration and front-of-house/reception roles
Previous experience working in a school or educational environment is highly desirable
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage a busy reception area while supporting wider administrative functions
Candidates must be genuinely interested in the role and committed to the responsibilities outlined

Pay: £26,946.58-£27,331.06 per year
