Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Assistant Accountant to support our finance team at our flagship dealership in Hillington. The successful candidate will support the dealership within the Finance Department with various tasks ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our accounting processes.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and ledger maintenance
Bank & balance sheet reconciliations
Month end journals and accruals/prepayments
Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts for two sites
Supporting year-end processes

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software, experience with a dealer management system is advantageous but not required
Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team throughout the company
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

This role works closely with the Financial Controller to maintain and improve the reporting and processes for two dealerships with iconic motorcycle brands within a supportive team environment.

Salary DOE.

Part-time hours available 24-32 onsite.
