Full job description

Role Purpose:

The successful candidate will play a key support role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of the practice while supporting the wider team and maintaining a positive, consistent customer journey. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, customer-focused and confident supporting financial processes without needing to be a fully qualified finance professional.

Key Responsibilities:

Practice & Team Support

Provide administrative support to the wider practice team
Act as a central point of coordination for client queries
Support process improvement and ensure systems are used consistently
Assist with internal reporting and documentation
Manage income and outgoing post
Welcome visitors and acting as first point of contact.

Customer & Client Journey

Act as a professional and approachable point of contact for clients
Support a smooth and positive customer journey from onboarding through ongoing engagement
Resolve queries efficiently, escalating where appropriate
Liaising with clients with regards fees, payment arrangements.
Maintain a customer-first mindset in all interactions
Conducting KYC and AML checks on clients

Skills & Experience:

Essential

Previous experience in a finance, admin or practice-based role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Desirable

Experience working in a professional practice environment
Understanding of customer journey or client service principles

Personal Attributes

Customer-focused with a collaborative mindset
Comfortable supporting others and working as part of a team
Proactive and willing to improve processes
Professional, discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information

Pay: £24,420.00-£32,500.00 per year
