We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Care Manager to lead our service and continue driving high standards of care, compliance and operational excellence.

Salary
£32,500 per annum.
The Role
As Care Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of our domiciliary care service, ensuring that outstanding, person-centred care is delivered while maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will provide strong leadership to the office team and care staff, promote a positive working culture, and ensure the service continues to grow while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of the domiciliary care service
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and company policies
- Maintain and improve standards in line with Care Inspectorate requirements
- Lead, motivate and support office staff and care workers
- Ensure safe staffing levels and effective workforce planning
- Organise and coordinate the running of the service (care plans, work schedules and care rosters)
- Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, local authorities and healthcare professionals
- Monitor quality assurance processes, audits, complaints and incidents
- Ensure person-centred care plans and risk assessments are regularly reviewed and updated
- Maintain records and compliance in line with GDPR
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Essential for role
- Full Valid UK driving license with access to own vehicle
- Appropriate registration with the SSSC
- Must have or be working towards SVQ 4 in social care
- Strong knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and Scottish Health & Social Care Standards.
- Health & Safety / First Aid / Food Hygiene / Moving & Handling Training Certified
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Good verbal and written skills in English
- Experience with all Microsoft office suite, i.e. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook
Desirable for role
- Previous experience managing a domiciliary care or home care service
- Knowledge of workforce planning and rota management
- Knowledge in effective service delivery
- Experience of working in a supervisory capacity and conducting meaningful supervisions would be desirable
- Experience using electronic care planning systems.
