Due to continued growth within the lead manufacturing sector, we are pleased to offer multiple opportunities for Production and Machine Operatives at our facility located close to Barnsley town centre.
Duties will include:
- Casting bars & ingots
- Assembling, polishing, etching, welding, grinding, fettling
- Operating manual & automated saws and routers
- Operating guillotines & various presses
- General house keeping
- Adherence to PPE & RPE requirements
Skills required for the position:
- Candidates must be physically fit. Manual handling activities of up to 25kg
- A good understanding and adherence to health and safety practices
- The ability to complete detailed production records
- FLT license and/or crane license would be advantageous
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would an advantage

Hours of work:
- 40 hour week - Monday to Thursday 4 x 10.5hr shifts with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break and a 15 minute paid tea-break
- Days - Between 07:00 - 17:30hrs & 07:30 - 18:00hrs
- Twilight/Afters 16:30 - 03:00hrs
- All hours worked between 22:00 - 03:00hrs are paid a shift premium of £8.20 per hour
Pay: £12.99-£14.49 per hour
