Full job description

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Head Housekeeper at out hotel in Beverley to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and overall cleanliness of the hotel and leading a small team of Housekeepers. The role would suit someone who has the ability to run hotel operations independently and minimal support from the manager. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experience and leadership qualities, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the team of Housekeepers while assisting the Hotel Manager to run hotel operations efficiently.
Collaborate with other staff to ensure timely service and quality of Housekeeping.
Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the hospitality environment.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms and common areas.
Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas as needed.
Complete the daily and weekly reports and share with the Head Office.
Respond to the emergency calls from the Head Office at nights.

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel setting is preferred.
Strong leadership and guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Excellent time management and team building skills to efficiently handle busy shifts.
Understanding of health and safety standards and practices within the hospitality industry.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
A passion for hospitality and providing memorable experiences for guests.

We are happy to discuss if you want to work for us under a self-employed contract and the pay rate may vary from the listed pay rate.

Please note that starting pay rate will be based on National Minimum Wage as per candidate's age.
