Job description

Strand Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to join our academy in September 2026 on a full time, temporary basis for one term.

Strand Primary Academy is situated in the East Marsh area of Grimsby, less than an hour drive from Hull, Lincoln and Scunthorpe. We are a small, one form entry academy, educating children from the ages of 3 to 11 from the local area.

At Strand Primary Academy we have a team that is absolutely committed to ensuring that our children are at the heart of everything we do.

We aim to broaden children’s minds and raise their aspirations. We are fostering a ‘can do’ approach and with everyone working together, we strive to make our school the best. The culture of our school is one in which staff and pupils are continually learning and are determined to succeed. We work collaboratively within the school and we are establishing relationships within the Delta network to share good practice. The principles of nurturing lie at the heart of our school and drive everything we do.
