Are you an experienced Light Vehicle Technician looking for a rewarding new challenge? Do you have a passion for the automotive industry and want to share your knowledge and skills with young aspiring technicians?

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Motor Vehicle Tutor to join our experienced technical teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity to move your career in a new direction, helping learners develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence they need to start their career in the motor industry.

Whether you already have teaching experience or are an experienced technician looking to make the transition into education, we would love to hear from you!

What You'll Bring

A Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) is desirable.
Applicants with a Level 2 qualification and substantial recent industry experience will also be considered.
Strong practical skills and up-to-date industry knowledge.
A passion for developing and supporting learners.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

A teaching qualification is desirable; however, if you do not currently hold one, we will support you in working towards a Level 3 Teaching Qualification during your first year of employment. You'll also benefit from a structured induction programme which will iclude you shadowing experienced tutors and having the support of a dedicated mentor to start your teaching journey.

About the Role

You will deliver engaging and industry-relevant learning experiences, helping students achieve their qualifications and appreniceships.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective teaching across Motor Vehicle programmes at Levels 2 and 3.
Inspire, motivate and support learners to achieve their full potential.
Assess student work, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Support students' academic, practical and personal development.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of courses and curriculum.
Maintain a safe, professional and industry-standard workshop environment.
Keep accurate learner records and contribute to quality assurance activities.
