We’re looking for a creative, organised, and proactive marketer to take the lead on two of our most vital client channels: Organic Social and Email.
As our Marketing team continues to scale, we need a specialist who can own these integral channels. You’ll be the person who turns a client’s brand story into an engaging social feed and transforms a quiet database into a high-performing email funnel.

Laser Red is growing fast. To maintain the high standard our clients expect, we need to alleviate the pressure on our marketers by bringing in a dedicated specialist for Organic Social and Email.
By taking ownership of these areas, you’ll be providing much-needed expertise that helps our clients grow while allowing the wider team to focus on their core specialisms. You won’t just be "filling a gap" you’ll be helping us add to our marketing services.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Social Strategy: Creating and executing organic calendars that build communities.
- Email Marketing: Leading on everything from weekly newsletters to sophisticated automation flows.
- Content Creation: Crafting copy and briefing visual assets that align perfectly with client brand guidelines.
- Channel Performance: Monitoring engagement and conversion to prove the value of organic channels.
- Team Integration: Working alongside SEO and PPC clients to ensure a joined-up strategy.
How This Role Works
You’ll work as part of our marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing. While our SEO and PPC teams handle the "search" side of things, you will be the champion for "engagement and retention."
You’ll take ownership of the social and email deliverables for a variety of clients. This means you’ll be responsible for coming up with the ideas, as well as the technical execution, like setting up mailing list segments or scheduling a month’s worth of LinkedIn content.
What You’ll Be Doing
Organic Social Media
- Manage end-to-end organic social presence for clients (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
- Write engaging, platform-specific copy and oversee the creation of visual assets.
- Monitor trends and identify ways for our clients to join the conversation authentically.
- Engage with followers and manage communities to build brand loyalty.
Email & Retention
- Own the email marketing strategy for your portfolio, from initial idea to final send.
- Build and manage automated workflows (welcome series, abandoned carts, re-engagement).
- Segment databases to ensure the right message reaches the right person at the right time.
- A/B test subject lines and layouts to constantly improve open and click rates.
Collaboration & Growth
- Work with the SEO team to repurpose high-performing blog content for social and email.
- Coordinate with PPC to ensure social messaging aligns with paid ad campaigns.
- Provide clear, concise reports that show clients exactly how their organic presence is improving.

- Exceptional Copywriting: You can adapt your tone for a manufacturing firm one hour and a lifestyle brand the next.
- Technical Savvy: You’re comfortable with scheduling tools and ESPs (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp).
- Basic Design: You have a good eye and can use Canva or Adobe Express to create high-quality assets.
- Analytical: You understand what a "good" engagement rate looks like and how to improve it.

- Organised: Managing multiple clients means you need to be a master of the content calendar.
- Creative yet Commercial: You love a viral idea, but you never lose sight of the client’s business goals.

Experience & QualificationsEssential
- Proven experience managing professional social media accounts (beyond your personal ones).
- Experience building and sending email marketing campaigns.
- A strong portfolio of copywriting or content creation.
- Understanding of how social and email fit into a wider digital marketing funnel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment.
Desirable
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce).
- Knowledge of platform-specific analytics (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics).
- Experience with video editing for Reels or TikTok.
What You’ll Achieve in Your First 90 Days
- Month 1 – Integration: Get to grips with our clients’ brand voices and take over the existing social/email schedules. Understand our internal workflows and meet the SEO/PPC teams.
- Month 2 – Standard Setting: Start introducing new ideas for content and automation. Audit existing email flows and suggest improvements to boost performance.
- Month 3 – Full Ownership: You are the "go-to" for all things organic social and email. You’re producing high-quality work independently and the wider team is already feeling the benefit of your expertise.
Pay: £28,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
