LOVE WEDDINGS AND EVENTS
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Events Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of a diverse range of events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and experience within the hospitality or event management sectors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead memorable events, enhance guest experiences, and contribute to the success of our organisation. The position is paid and suitable for candidates with a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating engaging experiences.

Responsibilities

Plan and organise a variety of events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly from inception to completion
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet event objectives and deadlines
Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement processes to maximise efficiency
Upsell additional services or packages to optimise revenue opportunities
Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all elements adhere to safety standards and organisational policies
Provide excellent guest services by addressing client needs promptly and professionally
Develop detailed event timelines and schedules to ensure timely delivery of all components
Monitor event progress and resolve any issues that may arise during the event
Maintain comprehensive records of events for future reference and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Proven experience in event management within hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or fundraising sectors is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines under pressure
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members
Demonstrated ability in upselling services or products to increase revenue streams
Experience in guest services and hospitality environments is advantageous
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Proficiency in organisational tools such as scheduling software or project management platforms
