Full job description

Riva Foods is looking for an experienced and motivated Night Hygiene Manager to lead our hygiene operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance are maintained across our site.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong hygiene and management experience, ideally within a food manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the night hygiene team, maintaining exceptional visual and microbiological standards, and supporting a positive, high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all manufacturing, packing, storage, and staff facility areas are cleaned thoroughly to scheduled standards.
Maintain excellent microbiological hygiene results across the site.
Review and enforce company hygiene procedures and standards.
Set and monitor KPIs and objectives for the hygiene team.
Lead, support, train, and motivate the hygiene team to build a strong and reliable workforce.
Manage and enforce all COSHH, PPE, cleaning, health & safety, and training procedures.
Take a hands-on approach to cleaning operations and support deep cleans where required.
Oversee the cleaning of office and staff facilities.
Manage factory garment laundry and ensure adequate PPE supplies are maintained.
Liaise with engineering regarding machinery or equipment faults.
Act as a key holder for the company.

Skills and Experience Required

Previous hygiene management experience
Strong understanding of health & safety and hygiene procedures
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Hands-on and proactive approach to work
Hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment

Pay: £1.00 per year

Work Location: In person
