Location: Guildford, England, United Kingdom | Full-time | Onsite

Challenge

What you will do

We are seeking a dynamic and diligent individual who can combine technical flair with excellent customer service skills to work as Field Service Technician . As a Field Service Technician, you will install and configure our vehicle and people access solutions and:

Connect, commission and maintain SKIDATA equipment, IT hardware/software, Network devices, EV charging and other access control devices.

Ensuring that our access solutions operate as specified while also providing reliable maintenance, repairs and class-leading customer service.

Escalate technical issues to Technical Services Team and work together to achieve resolution.

Complete customer hardware and software training remotely via Cornerstone software.

Profile

What we are looking for

Proven experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting IT hardware and software and basic electrical knowledge.

Experience with operation and maintenance of access devices including – installation and flashing Firmware (Linux) and software configuration.

Basic Network technology – including TCP/IP protocols and the ability to analyse and solve technical network problems.

Be able to work in carpark, stadia and construction environments and holds a valid UK drivers licence.

You will work in a specified geographic area but may need to travel nationally and stay overnight when required.
