Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Florist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for floral design, horticulture, and customer service, with the ability to create stunning arrangements for a variety of occasions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead floral projects and contribute to the visual and aesthetic appeal of our shop.

Duties

Design and craft bespoke floral arrangements for events, weddings, funerals, and retail sales.
Lead floral displays and ensure the presentation aligns with seasonal themes and client specifications.
Manage floral stock levels.
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and offer expert advice on floral choices.
Maintain a clean, organised workspace adhering to health and safety standards.
Assist in merchandising displays to optimise visual appeal and sales.
Keep up-to-date with current trends in floristry, gardening, and horticulture.

Experience

Proven experience as a Florist or Senior Florist within a retail or event environment.
Strong knowledge of horticulture practices, plant care, and gardening techniques.
Demonstrable skills in floral design with an eye for colour coordination and composition.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members.
Organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in merchandising floral displays to attract customers and maximise sales opportunities.
