Job Summary:
We are currently looking for skilled Roofers to join our team. As a Roofer, you will play a crucial role in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on a variety of buildings. This position demands physical strength, the ability to work at heights, and proficiency in using tools and materials related to roofing.
Duties:
- Install new roofs on residential and commercial structures
- Perform repairs and replacements on damaged or worn-out roofs
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify leaks, cracks, or other roofing issues
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations
- Cut and shape roofing materials to precise dimensions
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment for roofing tasks
- Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing of roofs
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects in a timely manner
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines throughout all tasks
Experience:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following experience:
- Proven track record as a Roofer or in a similar capacity
- Familiarity with various roofing materials and installation methods
- Capability to work comfortably at elevated heights and in diverse weather conditions
- Proficiency in utilizing power tools, hand tools, and equipment essential for roofing work
- Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as part of a team
