About Guiseley Manor Care Home

Guiseley Manor Care Home is a purpose-built 72 care home facility situated in Guiseley, west Yorkshire, Leeds. The home provides the highest standards of safety, comfort and care to 72 residents who have a variety of care needs. We offer residential, nursing and dementia care.

The home reflects the Lovett Care vision of providing the highest standards of safety, comfort and care. We invest in the latest technology and offer a purposeful programme of daily activity and gentle exercise to enhance the experience, care and wellbeing of our residents. All team members are hand selected for their warmth and passion; they have a full induction and ongoing training from our in-house trainers. Across Lovett Care all of our staff are paid the national minimum wage or above.

The Role

We're seeking a kind, caring and organised Hospitality Assistant to join our team. You'll ensure that residents and visitors receive an efficient food service, maintaining a clean working environment within the dining room and servery at all times.

We have a 35 hour contract available with an hourly rate of £12.71! Shift times are 0800-1900, with alternate weekend working.

What You'll Be Doing

Provide high standard hospitality service
Support and assist visitors
Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents
Follow cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP
Ensure that all training given is adhered to
Ensure records and reports are properly written up
Take responsibility for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with

What We're Looking For

Hospitality or catering experience is desirable
Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable
Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team
Prepared to participate in the activities organised in the Home
