Full job description

We are delighted to announce the opening of our brand-new Barbour/luxuary brand and Cashmere store in Edinburgh and are looking for a passionate, customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a love for premium fashion and luxury retail to work with globally recognised brands in a beautifully curated store environment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, personable, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and service.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a premium and personalised shopping experience for every customer
Build strong product knowledge across Barbour, Cashmere, and other premium brands
Support the day-to-day running of the store
Maintain high visual merchandising and presentation standards
Assist with stock replenishment and inventory organisation
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Support store targets and contribute to driving sales performance
Ensure the store remains clean, organised, and welcoming at all times
Work in line with brand standards and company guidelines
Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in retail or luxury/premium customer service preferred
Passion for fashion, premium brands, and customer service
Confident communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to work well within a team and independently
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Flexible and reliable with a proactive approach to work
Sales-driven mindset with a passion for creating memorable customer experiences
