We are looking for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations and manage projects within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational efficiency and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and supervise all maintenance and repair activities
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and eliminate health and safety hazards
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs
- Respond immediately to maintenance and safety-related emergencies
- Maintain and enforce safe work practices and risk assessments for all tasks
- Supervise, train, and certify maintenance staff in safety procedures and equipment use
- Manage contractor safety, permits, and compliance while on-site
- Maintain proper storage and handling of chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Keep detailed maintenance and safety records, logs, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with management and department heads to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
- Be proactive in maintain the high standards if the building, rooms and facilities.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with local health, safety, fire, and environmental regulations
- Conduct regular health & safety audits and risk assessments
- Ensure all safety equipment (fire extinguishers, alarms, emergency lighting, PPE) is properly maintained and tested
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hotel or facilities maintenance management
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Understanding of fire safety systems, emergency procedures, and risk management
- Strong leadership, training, and communication skill
The Details
- 40 hours per week
- 5 days out of 7 (Monday to Sunday)
